Leading Corporate Innovation with Intelligent Manufacturing

Guangling Packaging owns advanced high-speed, smart, and environmentally friendly food can production lines. With the support of the Xingtang County Party Committee and government, from its establishment in the development zone to achieving full operational efficiency, the company managed to sign contracts, invest, commence construction, upgrade to a large-scale enterprise, and begin production all within 106 days. This success was not only due to the "nanny-style" services provided by the development zone but also thanks to the company's highly intelligent and automated production equipment.

"From the outset, the company aimed for intelligent and automated construction, introducing world-leading fully automatic high-speed canning production lines equipped with automatic cutting, film inspection, stacking, foreign object detection, barcode detection, and other devices. We gradually integrated the planning, production, warehousing, logistics, canning area, and quality control processes, achieving intelligent manufacturing of our products," said General Manager Sui Chengxin.

Leveraging process improvements during production, Guangling Packaging has applied for 18 utility model patents, with a 100% conversion rate. Through intelligent upgrades and the construction of an industrial internet, the company's third production line, which cost 30 million yuan, is now operational, capable of producing more than 150 million cans of various specifications annually. The expected annual sales revenue exceeds 350 million yuan, with tax contributions reaching 20 million yuan.

Boosting Technological Upgrades with Science and Technology Conversion

In the laboratory of Leili Tool Company, two technical personnel are testing the performance of new products. As one of the representatives in Xingtang Economic Development Zone using scientific and technological achievements to drive technological upgrades, the company has received honors such as "Science and Technology Small and Medium Enterprise of Hebei Province," "High-tech Enterprise," "SGS Certification," and "CE Certification." It has its own C-level research and development center.

"Effective application of technology is far more important than the technology itself. Our company holds 15 utility model patents, all of which have been applied to the front lines of production to drive technological upgrades, achieving the leap from innovation to entrepreneurship," explained Chairman Liang Haiwang.

Leili Tool has also established an intellectual property management department and implemented an intellectual property management system to encourage employee innovation, providing technical support for the company's research and development and production.

Stimulating Corporate Innovation with Science and Technology Policies

Xingtang County focuses on increasing investment in science and technology, fostering innovative entities, and accelerating the construction of dual innovation (entrepreneurship and innovation) platforms. The county innovates working methods and implements practical measures to enhance innovation capabilities and inject new impetus into high-quality development.

In July, Xingtang County introduced 16 policy measures to support stable economic development through science and technology, focusing on increasing R&D investment in large-scale industrial enterprises, promoting the quantity and quality of innovative entities, strengthening talent development, improving technology transfer systems, enhancing county-level innovation capabilities, and intensifying core technology research. The county also vigorously promotes the full enjoyment of the policy for additional deductions of R&D expenses, supports enterprises in increasing R&D investment, and expedites the allocation of grants and rewards for science and technology small and medium-sized enterprises, high-tech enterprises, and municipal innovation platforms. This encourages technological enterprises to conduct R&D activities. Additionally, a regular platform for science and technology policy publicity and service has been set up, with ongoing "Face-to-Face Science and Technology Policy Services" being conducted.
