Wang Zhengpu visited companies such as Leili Tools and Guangling Packaging in Xingtang County, Kangtai Plastics Technology in Lingshou County, Xinle Medical Instruments in Xinle City, and SanYuan Foods. He exchanged views with employees on their understanding of the spirit of the 20th National Congress and surveyed the companies' technological research and development and market expansion. He noted that learning, publicizing, and implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress is the top political task for the current period and beyond. At all levels across the province, efforts should be made to fully study, grasp, and implement the spirit, ensuring the integration of learning, thinking, and practice, and applying the spirit of the 20th National Congress to all aspects of economic and social development.

He mentioned that the report of the 20th National Congress proposes, "Accelerating the implementation of an innovation-driven development strategy" and "Enhancing the integration of industry, academia, and research led by enterprises." All cities and counties should increase support for entrepreneurship and innovation, effectively implementing policies such as additional deductions for R&D expenses, helping companies bring in experts and technologies, and accelerating the innovation and development of special industries. At China Electric Xingtang Biomass Energy Thermal Power Co., Ltd. and Aneng Green Building Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Zhengpu toured workshops and inspected products, learning about biomass power generation and the research and application of green buildings. He said that the report of the 20th National Congress emphasizes, "Promoting green and low-carbon development is a key link in achieving high-quality development." All regions should combine the actual circumstances of enterprises and vigorously develop green and low-carbon industries. He urged that efforts be made based on local conditions and respecting farmers' wishes to promote prefabricated and ultra-low energy consumption buildings in rural areas, creating attractive and practical rural living environments.

At the Xinle toll gate of the XinYuan Expressway, Wang Zhengpu randomly checked the implementation of COVID-19 prevention and control measures. He emphasized that, following the central government's requirements of "containing the pandemic, stabilizing the economy, and ensuring safety," it is crucial to enforce preventive measures at the grassroots level, earnestly and emotionally ensuring the wellbeing of the people, and firmly guarding against the occurrence of large-scale outbreaks.
